Galilee Communality is a regional infrastructure for strengthening community and communality in the Galilee.
It is guided by the view that social capital is a central driver of recovery and growth in northern Israel. By connecting local actors, developing professional knowledge, supporting peer learning, and building partnerships, it helps communities and local authorities lead recovery, renewal, and growth processes that build infrastructure for the present and the future.

 

Galilee Communality is a professional home for community practitioners in the Galilee: a space for learning, professional development, creating new knowledge, developing initiatives, and building collaborations, grounded in the belief that strong communities are the foundation of a thriving Galilee.

Galilee Communality belongs to the people of the Galilee. It is built together with local leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and residents. Needs are identified, plans developed, decisions made, and actions implemented together, recognizing local knowledge and communities’ ability to lead change, and believing that the most meaningful change grows from within.
